“The embodiment of srngara-rasa, the king of rasa, srngara-rasa-raja Krsna is an expert sculptor. He made the heart of mahabhava-mayi Radharani melt. How? This verse states, ‘Your heart and Srimati Radharani’s heart are just like shellac and are now melted in Your spiritual perspiration.’ What does that mean? If you put lac on fire, then it melts. So Krsna put Radharani in the fire of acute pangs of separation; from the heat generated by that fire, the lac-like heart of Radharani melted. Then Their two hearts were pressed together, so there was no more difference between Them.
